18th and California is located in Washington, DC ,this project charged us with matching the context of the neighbor hood it was in and also addressing the edge condition of the street. This mix use building consisting of retail space, a restaurant, and 14 apartment units. The retail space and restaurant have access from the back. The restaurant also has two out door eating areas, one in the front is to address the corner condition. In addition to the restaurant outdoor space there is also a privet rooftop outdoor green space for the residents of the building.
